Morrison, who’s from Surrey, B.C., played with Yale Hockey Academy U17 Prep in the Canadian Sport School Hockey League U17 division in 2022-23, posting five goals and eight assists for 13 points in 30 games. He added a pair of goals in four playoff games.

In 2021-22, he suited up with West Van Academy U16 Prep in the CSSHL U16 division and finished with four goals and seven assists in 25 games. Morrison chipped in with one goal in three playoff games in 2022.

Last spring, Morrison signed with the Kerry Park Islanders of the Vancouver Island Junior Hockey League for 2023-24 but didn’t play any games with them as he recovered from a long-term injury.
